• Giving back to the Community (priceless) Individuals and business owners make an investment in the Chamber of Commerce to increase prosperity and to address local issues.
• Database Listings/Referrals ($200 plus) As a Chamber member, your name and business is automatically listed in the Chamber database and on the website. Referrals are made by phone, internet, mail or in person for our members' products and services. Members may display their business cards or brochures in the Chamber office.
• Internet/Website Listing ($100 value) The Chamber website will make it easier for your potential customers to find you. Our website lists will link to members. Premium and Banner Advertising available.
• Workshops/Seminars ($50 value) Offered to individuals, employees of small businesses & industry in areas of downtown promotion, economic revitalization, tourism, organization management and job skills.
• Tax-deductible (actual $ investment) The Chamber is a 501c6 non-profit business organization. You may deduct membership, gifts, donations, advertising & sponsorships.
• Grand Openings/Ribbon Cuttings/Sales Promotion ($200 value) By request, we assist you in promoting your new business or industry by putting your picture in the local newspapers. We help you with business promotions!
• New Resident Packets (unlimited) By request, given to Members and Newcomers. Provides information, demographic, maps and “See a Member First Directory.” Members may provide light business literature or specialty item in the packets for a fee of $50.00 a year.
• Contributions/Goodwill (unlimited) Support to local non-profit organizations such as Clydesdale Christmas Store for Needy Children, Various Civic Projects, Habitat for Humanity, Byhalia Sports Assn., Byhalia Garden Club, Byhalia Lions Club, Volunteer Fire Depts., Humane Society, School Education and Athletics Programs.
• Free Listings & Advertising: ($150 value) Members are listed in the “See a Chamber Member First” Member/Business Directory, Sustaining Members listed in The Chamber Communicator. New members are introduced at luncheon meetings. Referrals are made to members for their products and/or services. Chamber Champion Sponsors receive extensive advertising and promotions by the media, events and projects.
• Mailing Labels ($50 value) If requested, one set of mailing labels to notify Chamber members (approximately 260) of your Grand Openings, Ribbon Cuttings, Promotions and Sales Event. Annually, a second set is available for $50.00. A mailing list of 700 is available for $100.00.
• Staff/Office Building (unlimited) We serve as an ambassador and create a pro-active image for the Byhalia area and for Marshall County. The Chamber building is proclaimed on the National Historic Register and is a Resource Center /Museum. The Conference Room is available to members for meetings.
• Luncheon Meetings and Special Events ($150 value) Meet your contacts & friends. A great way to introduce yourself. Remember to bring your business cards!
• Publications ($100 value) Maps, demographics, members' business cards and brochures are displayed in the office and available to the public. Advertising available in maps & free maps to distribute from their business.
• Membership Plaque & Gifts ($50 value) Attractive Plaque to display showing your support of the Byhalia area Chamber. Gifts to our members have included Bookmarks, Handbooks, Ad/Coupon Books, Letter Opener, Note Pads, Anti-Litter Bags & other Specialty Items.
• Quarterly Newsletter ($50 value) The Chamber Communicator includes a calendar of events, Chamber highlights, listing of Sustaining Members, information for business and/or personal information, and free advertising space for the Chamber Champion Platinum, Gold, Silver Sponsors.
• Community & Economic Development (priceless) The Byhalia Area Chamber of Commerce promotes the Byhalia area as a place to live, work and do business! The Chamber hosts and assists with many community events and civic projects. Examples: Beautification/Environmental, Chamber Celebration, Government Forums/Receptions, Youth & Adult Leadership Programs, Historic/Downtown Preservation, White Oak Festival, Light Up the Town, Holiday Lighting Contest, Town Tree Lighting Ceremony, Golf Tournament, White Oak Classic Walking Horse Show, Marshall Co.
