New Members Recognized at Quarterly Luncheon
The Byhalia Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes its new members and Chamber Champion Sponsors during the quarterly membership luncheon meetings. Northcentral Electric Power Association hosted the October meeting at the Wayne Hollowell Community Building. Kenny Dickerson and crew provided a delicious fish dinner with all the trimmings. NEPA General Manager Kevin Doddridge gave an overview of the 59th year association which serves 28,000 customers.
ÿ Annual Chamber Celebration The Byhalia Area Chamber of Commerce will host the Annual Chamber Celebration. The BACC was founded in 1988. The event will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009ÿfromÿ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pmÿÿwith the location being at theÿoutstanding showroom of BardenStone on Edwards Rd in Byhalia Music will be provided by "Blue Denim" The ÿAWARDS PRESENTATION will consistÿofÿLeader of the Year - Board Member of the Year - Customer Service of the Year Chamber Champion Sponsors will be recognized with a gift plaque and media picture.ÿTheÿalways popularÿGift Basket Raffleÿwill be held including theÿLucky Last Draw $10 a Ticket - ONLY 300 will be sold with Last ticket drawn wins $500. The names of the members of the band reflected in the picture from left to right are:
Mike Rowland (Bass and Vocals); Shawn Weiser (Drums, Vocals and Harmony); Amber Brown (Vocals); Clinton Brantley (Guitar, Vocals and Harmony); Gene Sisk (Keyboards, Vocals and Harmony); and Ronnie Timbs (Guitar and Vocals). The band is from Memphis, TN and play local clubs, Senior Citizen Centers and VFWs in the surrounding areas.Members have, at one time or another, played with road groups, traveled around the country in show bands and have been recorded.ÿ Some of the artists they have played with are: Carl Wolf, The Drifters, Joey D and the Starlighters, Joel Schumaker, David Frizzel, Jerry Lee Lewis, Slim Rhodes TV Show and The Noble Sounds.They play Country, and 50's to 80's style music. ÿ It's Fall Y'all
